A New Standard in Spatial Bandwidth

High-performance Vibroseis techniques and the latest Sercel recording systems have enabled very fine spacing of point sources and point receivers.

Full-resolution, wide-azimuth processing makes full use of this finer spatial sampling to deliver more accurate statics, improved noise removal and extended bandwidth imaging results.

EmphaSeis Broadband Sweep

The CGGVeritas EmphaSeis technique intelligently tailors sweeps to extend bandwidth whilst working within all the mechanical constraints of the vibrator.

These customized broadband sweeps yield an extra octave of low-frequency signal, offering better wave penetration, sharper images and improved reservoir characterization.
