CGGVeritex is an annual awards program designed to recognize, encourage and reward excellence above and beyond the high standards we expect at CGGVeritas.

The program is designed to foster individual and team contribution to innovation, delivery of leading technology and best business practices.

CGGVeritex promotes a philosophy of excellence and provides a framework to highlight individual and team successes and achievements. Technology, talent and performance are all recognized and rewarded by the CGGVeritex program and are core to our vision and values.

CGGVeritex consists of three awards that target different aspects of the development and application of technology and business. The three awards are for:

• technical innovation
• delivery of technology
• non-technical business achievements

All awards are open to all employees in the company. The CGGVeritex program has been deliberately designed with the intention of ensuring that any employee in any division or group can be a candidate for an award through excellence in technical work or business contribution.

Nominations are judged based on:

• overall technical and business excellence
• quality of the innovation
• quality in delivery
• client feedback (internal and/or external)
• ultimate impact (technical and financial)

Each award has a US$20,000 incentive distributed to the team receiving the award, and an award ceremony is conducted each year to honor the recipients.
